On their latest video, Washington based musicians Fruit Juice explore the conflicts of visually representing your music and the lengths bands will go to to alter their aesthetic. As singer and songwriter Jake McCaffray explains:
“The song, Flesh, is a semi sorta sudo partial kinda almost but not quite satire. A song that started off with the intention of being fully in the perspective of the mainstream teaching of obsession with perfection, that got distorted by the song-writer’s brain and accidentally reflected some of his own desires and thoughts.
A music video with the concept to create a band that goes mad in their attempt to gain fame, sharing their flesh, increasing production value as their ability to perform slips into shit shit shitty mess.”
