The stellar Melbourne artist Woodes today releases her new single ‘Run For It’, a track which takes no prisoners and makes no apologies.
“The lyrics stem from accepting things being within the nature of certain people,” said Woodes. “If I see something that doesn’t sit well with me I call it out. There was potential for the song to stay in a dark place but the chorus was important for me to shift the energy positively. A warning. Signifying things are changing.”
Woodes is a fiercely independent artist who has held off label interest to release her music in her own way and again, flexed her technical prowess, co-producing ‘Run For It’ herself.
