A timely statement from songstress Aria Wunderland
Aria Wunderland grew up in NYC’s upper west side, then moving to Teaneck, NJ where she found herself drawn to songwriting and the piano at the young age of 9. Staying close to the city (and the piano!) through college, Aria studied philosophy at Rutgers, routinely commuting into the city to record her first EP.
As she developed her craft, she started moving away from the pure singer-songwriter style. In search of a way to broaden her sound, she began learning Logic Pro, to add production to her music. “Music really helped me get through some dark times in my life,” says Aria. “It is an escape and an outlet. I write music for people to feel empowered, and never alone in their times of trouble.”

He co-wrote and sang on A$AP Rocky’s breakout hit, “Peso.” He landed gigs performing as a side man with comedienne Sandra Bernhard. And he began performing regularly at New York City’s iconic Cafe Wha? as part of the house band. And he began his solo career in 2015 with his debut EP release, Technicolor Love.

An Important Message From The Delays’ Greg Gilbert
Greg Gilbert is known to many as the singer and guitarist of the band Delays and as an artist. LA Weekly has the premiere of Bloody Death Skull’s stop-motion video
“The dolls introduced in my video for “Girls Like You” are reunited in “Betsy’s Back,” along with some new friends. The tall girl is the video’s star. I found her at the Rose Bowl flea market. There she was, lying on a pile of partially dismembered vintage dolls. It was love at first sight. Her stare is so expressive, and even her toes wiggle. I shot the video in the mountains of Big Bear, standing in three feet of snow for the most part. It was definitely cold but I kept the dolls drunk on whiskey and they didn’t complain. That’s also probably why they had so much fun.”

Brooklyn Buzz Band ROSEBUG Share New Single “He Doesn’t Know”
Surprise! ROSEBUG is yet another punk band from Brooklyn, and they want you to hear their album. Perhaps they don’t have the most original origin story, but that doesn’t mean they’re not worth listening to. Their debut LP, Worst Way out noqNovember 11th via Dazzleships Records, is thirty minutes of distress and pretty petulance—wrapped up in a bow. The great thing about Rosebug, though? They’re in on the joke. By the time the words find the music, lead singer Becca Chodorkoff is already over it. Or, at the very least, she wants you to think that she is. Currently the band is sharing their buzzworthy new single, “He Doesn’t Know,” the follow-up to the critically acclaimed piece, “I Am The One.”
Worst Way was produced by Miles B.A. Robinson at a Bed-Stuy studio called The CRC. The space is owned by indie darlings, Chairlift, and frequented by the likes of Dev Hynes and MGMT. Rosebug’s current line-up consists of Becca Chodorkoff (vocals), Chris Nunez (guitar), Tarra Theissan (bass), and Drew Adler (drums). You’ll want to get to know this band, because, with Rosebug, it’s fun to be sad.
