Forward-thinking London-based duo patten have just dropped their music video for brand new Ψ track “Dialler”. Mirroring the audio, the prismatic hi-tech video is a multi-faceted hybrid of strong, stark imagery combining new technology, art and code into ultra-modern iconic visuals. Cast in a deep intense red, the band and everyday 3D objects fragment and morph into each other as the track’s laser-guided sonics twist and turn. The video was created in collaboration with long-term patten associate and visual artist Jane Eastlight.
Ψ, patten’s second album on Warp is a singular amalgamation of deconstructed club music with multiple strains of Pop, Post Punk and Industrial. They are due to take their mind-altering live show on the road in September which will debut a fully immersive newly imagined AV show.
