Henry Chadwick is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer. His New self-produced EP, Guest At Home, showcases Henry’s skills, as he wrote, engineered and played most of the instruments on it. Premiering his new video, “Overtime,” via IMPOSE this afternoon, Chadwick has been creating quite a stir in the Indie scene. From charting on the Hype Machine and Indie Shuffle charts, to Guest at Home being deemed a must-have record for your Summer via Rolling Stone Magazine, he has also been garnering love from the likes of Paste, Huffington Post and beyond.


The 1975 are sharing the video for the song “Somebody Else,” today. The song is from their critically acclaimed US and UK #1 album, I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it.

Picking up where the video for “A Change Of Heart” left off, “Somebody Else” continues to see the band taking their unique aesthetic to new heights. Directed by Tim Mattia and treatment written by Matthew Healy, the video follows Healy through the murky world of a Lynchian night-time London, struggling with self -obsession in the face of heart-break.

Jared Micah (vocals/guitar) and Preetma Singh (drums) found themselves trapped in their Jersey City, NJ, home during Hurricane Sandy. Drawing inspiration from their depressing surroundings and a shelf full of equally depressing records – Slint, Shellac, and Babes in Toyland, to name a few – Micah and Singh decided they had nothing better to do than to write loud songs. Those songs eventually became a band that they decided to call Vomitface, despite several industry professionals subsequently telling them that was a bad idea.

The Dabbers Premiere Video “Hidden Tin” Via Noisey

“San Diego garage-pop duo The Dabbers are picking up where the Pixies left off—both in their lilting garage pop jams, and, more literally, as the soundtrack to the trailer for Chuck Palahniuk’s Fight Club 2 comics collection.

That the author has cosigned the outfit, who are also collaborating with him on the film adaptation of his novel Lullaby, isn’t surprising: the pair are something of a creative force to be reckoned with.

JAW GEMS Drop New Single “DAVINCI”

Electronic outfit, Jaw Gems, is a Portland, Maine-based collective of young, experimental producers bringing beat-music—traditionally programmed and played on samplers—to a live band setting. On August 26, Jaw Gems will release their second album, HEATWEAVER via STS9’s 1320 Records.

Roadrunner Records’ group Gojira have debuted their official music video for ‘Low Lands.’ Taken from their acclaimed chart topping new album MAGMA, ‘Low Lands’ and its music video are streaming now on the Gojira’s official YouTube channel. The captivating video – directed by band members Joe and Mario Duplantier’s cousin, Alain Duplantier – was shot at the brothers’ family home in Ondres, France.

James Leonard Hewitson Reveals Debut Single ‘Care Less, Love Less’

Emerging artist James Leonard Hewitson has announced the forthcoming release of his debut single Care Less, Love Less. The melodic anti-folk track, the first in a series of releases planned by the singer-songwriter, combines clever wordplay with laid-back summer vibes and is sure to earn plenty of plaudits.

Drawing from strong American influences such as Black Lips and Adam Green, Hewitson’s unique style provides a fresh take on slacker pop, with soothing vocals and fuzzy guitars creating a sumptuous sound crafted to perfection.


Naming one’s album after a song titled “Porcupine Meat” may seem a little unusual — unless, of course, you’re Bobby Rush, who earned his first gold record in 1971 with a hit entitled “Chicken Heads.” He elaborates on his recent composition: “If a lady won’t treat me right, but she doesn’t want anyone else to have me, that is hard to digest.” Hence the lyric, “too fat to eat, too lean to throw away.”

Porcupine Meat is Rush’s debut release for Rounder Records, and one of the best recordings of his astonishing 60-plus year career. The album is due out September 16, 2016.

An artist unlike any other, GIRLI has been carving unique pink path for the past few months and today see’s her unleash new single “It Was My Party”, available to buy now and impacting on 19th August via PMR Records.

Today, Streets of Laredo have unveiled their new track, ‘Devil and the Sea’ via Canvasback Music (US) / Dine Alone Records (WW). The song is the b-side to the single ‘99.9%’ which was released late last month, and serves as a prelude to the band’s sophomore album, which will be produced by John Agnello (Kurt Vile, Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr.), with plans to release in the fall.

“We all ride the line between the best of us and the worst of us,” the band notes. “Really, this song is about accepting but still wrestling with your humanity…or maybe it’s just about sailing.”

Today, 26-year-old California rapper and singer, Brooke Candy, releases her new single, “Paper or Plastic”. Noisey premiered the song yesterday, calling it “sweet, poppy and hella catchy”.


Sydney band Tenderfoot believes that the best music speaks for itself and their debut EP does just that. With a nod to classic acts like Bob Dylan and Ryan Adams; Tenderfoot have created a sound that is unaffected.

The group has recently signed to international music company Audio Network, who will release their first EP ‘Beginnings’ on Friday 5th August 2016.
