Sister Crayon have been making their mark on the West Coast as electronic workhorses since 2009. After years of building a devoted and loyal fanbase in CA by playing countless house shows and selling out local establishments, the duo began touring relentlessly throughout the states with the likes of The Album Leaf, Built to Spill, Antemasque, Le Butcherettes, Maps & Atlases, Doomtree and more. With releases, ‘Bellow’ (Manimal Vinyl in 2011) and Cynic (Fake Four Inc in 2013), the duo received international praise from music circles including The BBC, Pitchfork, The Fader, Rolling Stone. Almost immediately after the release of Cynic, the duo decided to shift focus and hone in to center more towards the project’s founding members assets: vocals and beat production. They started to focus directly on the electronic elements of their music, centering more on Lopez’s dynamic, powerful vocal range while utilizing heavy beats and haunting melodies.

Sister Crayon has announced their signing to Warner Bros. Records along with announcing today that they will be joining fellow label mates DEFTONES and Yelawolf on a Summer tour this August. Dates will include California, Oregon and Arizona. The duo plan on releasing their next work in the Fall on Warner Bros. Records.
