Following the release of their dreamy, reverb-soaked debut album Wonderlust this past June on Heavenly Recordings, Kid Wave have shared a music video for track ‘I’m Trying To Break your Heart.’
‘I’m Trying To Break Your Heart’ is taken from Kid Wave’s recently debuted album Wonderlust that was recorded at Eve Studio in Stockport with producer Dan Austin (Doves, Cherry Ghost). The track itself is swirling with resounding guitar work and front woman Lea Emmery’s lush vocals offering self-aware musings about heartbreak. The wistful landscapes and narrative in this video prove an apt (and lovely) compliment to this, eloquently basking in the nuanced moments and overlap of young love and deep friendships.
