NEW SINGLE BY RAM
Comments RAM on their latest offering, “This album is the rebirth of RAM and a natural step to take after Death. For this album, we went back and rediscovered the mass of notes, lyrical ideas and sketches that were created at the very birth of RAM, from around 1999-2001. We saw that these ideas were more valid than ever and still very inspiring. We are very pleased with the album that is the product of four months of being locked up in the studio and offering our very last drop of sweat and blood for it to become the most massive RAM production ever. This is our latest assault upon the rotting world, may it be a dagger in the heart of the powers that may be! Svbversvm is at hand!”

\\GT// PREMIERE “DERANGED PSYCH” VIDEO FOR “SOMETHING’S WRONG WITH MY MIND” VIA CLASH
A Birmingham power trio given to insistent but agile rhythms and psychedelic interpretations of standard rock muscle,\\GT// self-released two excellent EPs in 2013. Spurred by the enthusiasm of Alabama label and recording studio Communicating Vessels, who signed on to produce and release the band’s debut LP, the trio doubled down to make their best work yet—the thrilling, anthemic, addictive eight-song debut, Beats Misplaced. It’s a rock ’n’ roll thrill ride, full of pumping beats and plangent guitars, howled vocals and hooks that past. For these eight tunes, the blues commingle with noise rock, and a righteous boogie pulsates beneath shoegaze distortion. Think Japandroids or No Age being born in and embracing the humid and strange American South, and you start to hear \\GT// through the haze.

RAC’S “BACK OF THE CAR” VIDEO PREMIERES ON VULTURE
Of the video, Anjos’ said “A surrealist and absurdist interpretation of the song really made sense to me. I think most people might interpret the song in a literal sense of a road trip, but Alex’s vision struck me as really smart and inventive.” While director Karpovsky said “I wanted to push the chorus of this super-catchy song [“We’re living out the back of the car”] to a comedically absurd late-summer horizon, where ridiculous glints meld with screwball shimmers under a soft, hazy glow.” Sasheer Zamata of SNL chimes in saying “I wouldn’t want to be trapped with someone I love because eventually one of us would have to eat the other. And it would also taint the way I feel about the person if they don’t taste good.”

Dolo Yeung is the London bred Trappa set to take the world by storm with his ability to murder any beat he jumps on, clearly displayed on his EP titled “Bolo”. Dolo makes it quite clear he’s a kung.fu fan and you can’t help the feeling that he’s making a statement with both his name and title of his release.

BOYSETSFIRE PREMIERE MUSIC VIDEO FOR “ONE MATCH”
Watch the video for BoySetsFire’s “One Match” now on DyingScene.com. The song appears on the band’s self-titled new album, which will be released on September 25th 2015 on Bridge Nine Records in North America. There is a good reason why Boysetsfire’s new album is self-titled. It is the final result of a fight for freedom that lasted years and a reawakening of all the strengths within the band, combined with the power of the close bonds between its members. The focus is on their own abilities, something that was not always easy for frontman Nathan Gray, nor the rest of the band, which includes Chad Istvan, Joshua Latshaw, Chris Rakus and Robert Ehrenbrand. The captivating euphoria that has been building around the band for years has been channeled into thirteen songs that contrast with the rage of the previous album, with rousing optimism seeping from every pore. You could say that the eponymous album is the light-hearted sister of the brooding While A Nation Sleeps (2013, Bridge Nine).
