AERO FLYNN ANNOUNCES SUMMER TOUR DATES + “Dk/Pi”
Aero Flynn will continue to tour in support of their self-titled debut album this summer. Deemed “one of 2015’s sleeper greats” by Stereogum, and “a blissful return for the enigmatic songwriter” by Consequence of Sound, Aero Flynn caught many by surprise when it was released this spring on Ooh La La Records. The intriguing backstory surrounding the debut release from the Minneapolis group was also recently featured on NPR Morning Edition (Listen here). Upcoming tour dates include a long run this July and August with Lafayette, LA band Givers, as well as appearances at Summerfest, The Eaux Claires Music Festival, and a return trip to the United Kingdom this September.
MEDICAL EMERGENCY FORCES NICKELBACK TO CANCEL NORTH AMERICAN DATES
Multi-platinum selling rock band NICKELBACK is forced to cancel all remaining dates of the second leg of the 2015 No Fixed Address North American tour due to lead vocalist Chad Kroeger being diagnosed with an operable cyst on his voice box. Kroeger will undergo surgery in 3 weeks following vocal rest ordered by doctors. Ticket refunds will be available at the point of purchase.
Nickelback cancelled shows over the weekend, hoping the additional rest and treatment would help but an unfortunate diagnosis from Kroeger’s doctor revealed a more serious scenario. ““I am sorry I have to interrupt the party this summer and I am definitely not thrilled with the prospect of being silent for many weeks to come when I could be out there playing for our fans” shared Chad Kroeger. “I am relying on my doctor and his team to help get my voice back in good form as quickly as possible.”

Upping the ante on their second jam-packed night at Madison Square Garden on their Main Event Tour, New Kids On The Block surprised thousands of fans with an appearance by Mark Wahlberg during Donnie Wahlberg’s performance of “Good Vibrations.” Rapper 50 Cent teased the eager crowd at the end of his performance, telling them he felt “like we have some good vibrations here tonight…” leading into Mark’s entrance on stage, which marked the first time he had joined NKOTB on stage in more than 20 years to celebrate their successful two-night run at MSG.
Rappers Biz Markie and 50 Cent also returned to the stage last night to perform “Just a Friend” and “In Da Club” respectively after surprising fans at the packed show for the second night in a row.
