Thousand is the project of French songwriter Stéphane Milochevitch and releases its self-titled, sophomore album on April 7 via eccentric French label Talitres. The album is a beautiful collection of pop-folk gems and soulful songwriting with an addictive edge, reminiscent of the Supremes and Bill Callahan dipped in synth pop and afro-beat. Listen to lead track The Flying Pyramid HERE and feel free to share.
Milochevitch spent his teenage years in Texas, where he developed his musical and cultural identity. He started the drums at age 7, picking up a plethora of instruments along the way and began to record on his own four-track cassette home recorder.
