Chicago quintet, Santah return with the shimmering new track, “Sunkeeper” and announce a series of dates with Desert Noises. Led by brother/sister duo, Stanton and Vivian McConnell, Santah have been laying the laying the framework for their forthcoming second full-length, the Chico LP. “Sunkeeper” is their first offering since, last year’s Aww Man 7” and 2012’s acclaimed, You’re Still A Lover EP and finds Santah infusing their patented dreamy sound with airy guitars and sweet harmonies.
Santah have been praised by the likes of PASTE, Spin, Impose and Rolling Stone, for their soaring choruses and lush arrangements punctured with sincere, yet dark lyricism that had MTV noting, “it’s not often that songs this versatile come along.” Santah are preparing to share new material and revisit old friends, fans and haunts on this month-long jaunt, they’ve aptly named titled, the How’ve Been Tour.
