After releasing his eponymous LP and packing out clubs in the US and Europe, Clark ends 2014 with a few more dates and a music video for the track “Beacon”. On March 13 he plays the UK’s Bloc Festival then heads out on a massive US Spring co-headline tour with Nosaj Thing, his most expansive to date. More dates will be announced.
The video was created by animator and musician Matti Gajek: “Clark’s music to me is sublime and rough at the same time, so I was searching for images that mirror this quality, seemingly cold landscapes, otherworldly places and a sense of timelessness. Also “Beacon” has this beautiful emotional intensity which for me comes to the foreground more in the second part of the video with the portraits. There for the first time in the video something looks back at you. Making this video for Clark was a fantastic experience and a great challenge.”
