New York based singer-songwriter Toby Lightman is set to release her new album digitally, Every Kind of People out on Oct 27th produced by Curt Schneider (Lissie, Natasha Be Bedingfield). The 12-track album portrays Toby’s long time affair with living in a bustling city coupled with the highs and lows of the human condition.
Every Kind of People ranges from the rhythmic truth of the title track and single, “Every Kind of People” to the tumultuous fear of a broken heart in “Running from Love.” Toby channels the nostalgia of youth on “Whatever Happened,” and the illuminous humor of vulnerability on the upbeat “Hangin out to Dry.” Toby cries out from the devastation of a fight with a lover on “When You Ran” and spits sarcastic wit on the satirical “Brand Spankin New.” The album takes you into Toby’s world when she describes the moment she knew she found her now husband on “Bumps in the Road” and, continues on the journey to illustrate the meaning of love on the epic track “My Love and Me.”
