After 5 years of collaborating with local and national acts, Lola de Hanna is taking a new musical direction and just released her solo CD single titled “A knack for these…” written by Lola and produced by French producer Pascal Perrin. Lola, who was born and raised in Greece, describes her new sound on her website as “bongotronika”, a fusion of pop, rock, electronic and ethnic sounds. The track can be purchased on iTunes. Lola de Hanna’s EP is scheduled to be released January 2015. Her music video for the track, edited by Lola herself, was published just days before the single release, and features a guest appearance by NYC musician theAfroNick.
