MARC E. BASSY NEW EP
“There are no more boxes, and that’s kind of just been my manifesto,” says future RnB artist Marc E. Bassy. The tough metallic chords that ‘Dervish’ opens with grow in intensity before being off-set by the ethereal sonic explorations of the track’s conclusion.
Non album b-side “Gamma Gulch” is a much more laid back affair – detuned oscillators drone and squeal over a washed out, dreamy melodic sound bed.

RH Music, Restoration Hardware’s music platform, will release Larkin Poe’s full-length debut on October 14 in the U.S. and on August 25 in the U.K. The two Atlanta-based sisters signed with RH Music in September, 2013 after self-releasing a series of EPs. Kin will be the inaugural release from RH Music.
Hailed as the “best discovery” at the 2014 Glastonbury Festival by The Observer, the band also elicited acclaim for its recent dates with Elvis Costello, who has often tapped Larkin Poe as his opening act and as backing musicians. BLANK PAPER UNVEILS NEW VIDEO FOR “STEP INTO MY OFFICE”
Blending a diverse set of genres ranging from electronica to soul to rock, the band originated in New York City in 2012. Several years prior, the quartet met and became friends in college. Taylor Bense (synth, keys, guitar), at the time a session guitarist and songwriter, invited Marie Kim (vocals, synth, keytar) to start singing on his compositions and write together. Taylor, Chris Holdridge (drums, sampler pads) and Cory Sterling (bass, synth bass) had a band together, and Marie her own. After these projects disbanded, the four of them naturally came together to write and perform, sharing their passion for feel-good music with a darker edge.
