STARS FOR SECOND HARVEST BENEFIT CONCERT RAISED MORE THAN $142,000 FOR MIDDLE TENNESSEANS AT RISK OF HUNGER
The annual Stars for Second Harvest benefit concert with Craig Wiseman and Friends raised more than $142,000 for Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee. The June 3, 2014, sell out show at the Ryman Auditorium celebrated Craig Wiseman’s 10th anniversary as host as well as O’Charley’s 10th year as a presenting sponsor. This year also marked the third year of participation from the headliner, Florida Georgia Line.
Throughout the past 10 years, this event has raised more than $750,000 to feed hungry children, seniors and families in Middle Tennessee. Second Harvest provides four meals for every dollar donated. Therefore, funds raised from the past decade have provided over 3 million meals to the one in six Middle Tennesseans at risk of hunger.
GRATEFUL DEAD AT THE MOVIES JULY 17
Fathom Events and Rhino Entertainment are excited to present the annual”Grateful Dead Meet-Up at the Movies: Beat Club 4/21/72″ in cinemas nationwide on July 17 at 7:30 p.m. local time. The event will feature a complete rare live studio performance of the Grateful Dead captured during their legendary European tour in 1972 with audio remastered from the original analog tapes. Never officially released and never before seen in its entirety, the Bremen, West Germany’s Beat Club TV program studio performance features the classic 1972 lineup, and captures the Dead in their prime, playing at the height of the powers and tearing through a condensed version of a typical Europe ’72 concert. The event offers a unique view of the band, allowing fans in cinemas to hear fly-on-the-wall chatter and get up-close and personal with band members in one of their most intimate studio performances.
