“Mulberry” is the opening track off The Midnight Moan’s upcoming album, Comes In Phases and features Tom “Bones” Malone (former SNL band, currently in Letterman’s band) on Saxophone. “Mulberry” was inspired by Lou Reed and VU and was actually written on Mulberry Street during a four month stint of homelessness while Bradbury was crashing at an illegal sublet with no electricity during a brutally hot summer. Like all the other tracks on the record, it was produced by Eddy Offord (best known for his work with YES and Emerson, Lake & Palmer) who came out of a 20 year retirement after seeing them live. Comes In Phases will be released next week on Tuesday, May 20th, but is also streaming in full on Ground Sounds until Monday night. Both the track and stream are linked below – please feel free to post and share!
