When you learned about farm animal cruelty, “What Did You Do?” That’s the question Farm Sanctuary, the largest farm animal rescue and protection organization in the U.S., is asking millions of people around the world through a provocative new campaign that boldly asserts that future generations will ask us the same questions about factory farming cruelty that have been asked of past generations about slavery and the oppression of women. The campaign, running now through “World Day for Farmed Animals” on October 2nd, has garnered support from celebrities including Mayim Bialik, Russell Simmons, Leona Lewis, Emily Deschanel, Kevin Nealon, Shannon Elizabeth, Fred Willard, Joan Jett, and many more.
