The world has been coming together for focused lyricist ATlas BLK. A lifetime traveler who has lived across the globe and has performed on Africa’s biggest stages for beatboxing and dj’ing, he is now formally turning his focus to lyricism with his new track “Under Construction.” The back-and-forth of the instrumental between bouncing boom-bap and brooding swelling strings, which is produced by Frontier, serves as a fitting companion to ATlas’ exploration of his musings and contradictions.
The track premiered on The Come Up Radio, the hip hop show on award-winning college radio station WP 88.7FM, and on the show’s website. ATlas’ EP Time Spent will be released on August 10th.
