AllMusic praised the summery sound of indie pop quartet Fialta’s upcoming LP Summer Winter (out 7/23). Featuring a band name derived from a short story by Vladimir Nabokov and the pairing of couples Michael Leibovich and Beth Clements along with David Provenzano and Sarah Shotwell, AllMusic says Summer Winter is fittingly romantic and bookish. Fialta’s four multi-instrumentalist songwriters met while living in opposite corners of the country before relocating to California’s central coast to create their buoyant, hooky pop melodies filled with ukulele, whistling and peppy keyboards.
