The Bay Area has has historically been home to some of rap’s most distinct personalities and Berkley’s 100s is no different. “1999” is the latest clip from his self-released Ice Cold Perm,a tribute to hip-hop video hallmarks (from fly girl dancers to Sir Mix-A-Lot fonts) where 100s’ own playalistic style steals the show. Unsurprising then that he just signed with Fool’s Gold, a label that knows a thing or two about one-of-a-kind rappers.
