The Academy of Country Music and ‘ZinePak are thrilled to announce this year’s edition is selling better than ever. In its first week on the shelves, the 2013 ACM ‘ZinePak moved 15,305 units, reached #2 on the Compilation Albums Chart, nabbed the #11 spot on the Billboard Country Albums chart, came in at #38 on the Billboard Top 200 and was the 10th highest debuting album this week overall. It also hit #6 on the Independent Albums Chart. Pretty impressive considering the ACM ‘ZinePak is available at only one retail outlet — Walmart — where it was the store’s #3 best-selling new release and #9 best-selling new release at mass merchants across the board.
“We could not be more thrilled about the 2013 ACM ‘ZinePak’s success,” said Lisa Lee, the Academy’s senior vice president of Creative, PR & Production. “It is exciting to see that fans agree this year’s ACM ‘ZinePak is just what they need to be ready when the ACM Awards air on Sunday.”
