For music lovers on the lookout for this summer’s hot new artist, look no further – Solomon has arrived. Following the success of his 2011 sophomore EP, “The Love Rocker Project,” the genre-defying openly gay singer, songwriter and rapper is releasing his latest single, “Life Goes On…” via his label, SolRay Records. Written and co-produced by Solomon, the song comfortably delves deeper into the dance genre while exploring the feeling of unrequited love and the inevitability of moving on. “Life Goes On…” with a Radio Edit, Extended Mix and digital booklet will be available May 29th on iTunes, Amazon.com and music retailers worldwide. A performance for lucky New York City fans is also scheduled for the late evening of Friday, June 8th at one of the city’s hottest clubs — ‘The Ritz.’
2011 saw Solomon debut on LOGO’s NewNowNext PopLab with his music video “Wit Us U Can’t…” featuring rapper Bry’Nt in addition to a summer tour opening up for Deborah Cox, a cover of Bent Magazine, his California anthem “West Coast !$#” infiltrating dance floors with remixes by Jason Nevins and Digital Dog, a well received cover of Robyn’s “Dancing On My Own” and more. But more importantly than achieving independent success, the singer strives to be a voice for LGBT youth.
