His latest release, “Always You” is a unique blend of popular music. He joined forces with producer Larry Marciano and created a unique sound that makes you stand up and pay attention. Vocally he has a droning relaxed tone and musically driving beats that draw you into the moment.

Each song tells a story that inspires. The song, “Come back to me” has a female harmony that builds the tension then he brings you back down to a tonal center. The ride is like an emotional roller coaster. The title track, “Always You” is an up tempo ditty about his soul mate. The song compels happiness. You are left with no other choice but to prance around to the beat. He is not afraid to walk out on a limb and take daring strides of experimentation. Vocally he sometimes has an interesting way of phrasing his melodies to make them unexpected with a surprising resolve.

Michael Addison has a nice blend of highs and lows. The slower tracks are driven with deep feeling. The faster songs make it impossible to stay in your seat. Michael may be a newcomer on the scene but he seems to be paying attention to the musical trends and creating a few trends of his own.
