BEYONCE SELECTS LAUNCH DATE
Following the release of the video for her new single, “Run The World (Girls),” on American Idol on Wednesday night, Beyonce has announced the release date for her next album, 4. Fans can expect the disc to be in stores and online on June 28th. GAGA’S BIG TV WEEK BEGINS
Lady Gaga’s album, Born This Way, comes out on Monday, so be prepared to see her just about everywhere promoting it over the next few days. The pop star is not only going to be performing on Saturday Night Live this weekend, but according to PerezHilton.com, she’s going to be appearing in a sketch on the show as well. Also, Gaga will be on both The View and The Late Show with David Letterman on Monday.

KELLY CLARKSON RELEASING SINGLE IN JULY
Kelly Clarkson will be releasing the first single off of her forthcoming album in July. The original American Idol wrote on her Facebook page that recording for the still-untitled album is “all done,” and that this summer will be when we get to hear some new music.
KATY NOT PLEASED WITH MOTHER’S MEMOIR
We’ve been reporting that Katy Perry’s mother, Mary Hudson, is planning on writing a tell-all memoir, and not surprisingly, Katy’s not too pleased about it. LIL WAYNE, MARY J TO PERFORM AT BILLBOARD AWARDS
Lil Wayne and Mary J. Blige have just been added to the official line-up of performances for the 2011 Billboard Music Awards. The artists will reportedly showcase their duet, “Someone to Love Me (Naked),” which is the lead single off the singer’s upcoming album. They will join previously confirmed performers including Snoop Dogg, Far East Movement, Pitbull, Ne-Yo and OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder for the ceremony. The Ken Jeong-hosted event airs live from Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena on ABC at 8 PM Eastern on Sunday.

Have you heard the rumors that Ludacris secretly married his longtime girlfriend Eudoxie Agnan earlier this month? In addition to the pair not even being engaged, Luda has no intentions of ever getting married.
SNOOP TO MAKE A HOOD X-FACTOR
During a press conference in London, Snoop Dogg revealed plans to bring a new spin to singing competition shows like The X Factor and American Idol. The rap veteran is seeking to strike a deal with a major network to discover “America’s hottest hood artists.” Snoop explained the series will be targeted “to the hood… at people with no money, just talent.” No further details are known at this time.
LADY A UP FOR BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS
Lady Antebellum are up for a whopping eight Billboard Music Awards this Sunday night including for Top Duo or Group and Top 200 Album. The country trio has dominated the music world across all genres since the release of Need You Now and they’ve brought home more awards than they ever dreamed possible (See Related Cut #14). Lady A will also take the stage to perform in a star-studded tribute to singer Beyoncé during the ceremony, which airs Sunday night at 8 PM Eastern on ABC.

JAY-Z EARNS MORE THAN BEYONCE THIS YEAR
According to Forbes, Jay-Z was the breadwinner this year and for the first time since they got hitched three years ago, earned more than his wife, Beyonce. Hova reportedly banked 37-million and beat out Bey, who earned a respectable 35-mil. Most of the rapper’s income was generated from the success of his bestselling book, Decoded, his 40/40 franchise and profits from his small ownership in the New Jersey Nets.
DRAKE TWEETS ABOUT NEW SONG
Drake is slowly but surely making progress with his sophomore album, Take Care. The Young Money prince recently revealed via Twitter that he’s logged studio time with R&B act, The Weeknd. Of course, Drizzy did not reveal any further details but we’re hoping the follow-up to Thank Me Later has more R&B songs this go around.
