Independent songwriter Carly Jamison releases self-penned debut album Everything Happens For A Reason featuring a stellar team of talent including two Grammy award winners, a Billboard chart topping guitarist, as well as established studio musicians. According to music blog Lucid Culture, it’s “a breath of fresh air – in a world of wussy waifs and wannabe Jersey Shore skanks, she’s a rare individual voice making smart, accessible, kick-ass Americana-flavored rock.”

Producer Tres Sasser, formerly of The Will Hoge Band, assembled a bevy of world-class musicians for this debut release beginning with Dan Baird of Georgia Satellites fame. His raucous and bluesy guitar is prominently featured throughout the project and lends the perfect support for Carly’s deep, sultry voice. Keith Brogdon, who has played with artists such as Radney Foster and Cheap Trick was tapped for drums. Tres himself played bass, and David Henry, known for his work with Steve Earle and Cowboy Junkies, accompanied on strings. Two local church singers, Olivia Mack and Joslyn Ford-Keel, rounded out the ensemble with soulful background vocals. It was mixed by Vance Powell, Grammy Award winner for his work on The Raconteurs Consolers Of The Lonely, and mastered by Richard Dodd, a two time Grammy winner for his work with Tom Petty and Delbert McClinton.
