YELLE RELEASES TWO NEW VIDEOS FOR MINI FILM

Today Yelle is releasing not one but two new eye-popping videos, which together form a miniature film for their forthcoming album Safari Disco Club (March 29th; V2/Cooperative Music USA/Downtown Records).   In the first half, which is fthe video for the album’s title track, the trio hit the dance floor to create a real-life safari disco club.

The second half, which is the clip for “Que Veux-Tu,” finds GrandMarnier hopping behind a drum kit, Tepr manning the keys, and frontwoman Julie Budet slipping into a sparkly red dress to keep the party going. In both clips Yelle are joined by dance crew Fanny Pak, who were featured on the MTV’s America’s Best Dance Crew, and the whole thing was directed by Jeremie Sandon Like all things Yelle, the videos are a place where late night fun, fashion, and a sly sense of humor all come together.     It’s also a tantalizing taste of how fun the band’s live show is. You can catch Yelle on an extensive North American tour this Spring.
