THE BLACK EYED PEAS TALK STADIUM TOUR
The Black Eyed Peas are planning on doing a stadium tour to support their new album, The Beginning, which arrives on Tuesday. After a test-run through stadiums in South America earlier this month, will.i.iam told Billboard.com that the Peas are planning on creating a very big show. He said, “South America was a test. We did all our homework… to try to figure out how we can do stadiums in other countries, in America, in Europe.” Will.i.am added that the Peas want to launch a new tour after February. The Peas are rumored to be playing the Super Bowl halftime show in Dallas in early February.
TAIO CRUZ IS CHARITABLE
Taio Cruz has scored huge hits with “Dynamite” and “Break Your Heart,” which peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The U-K crooner is getting into the giving spirit and told us that while he doesn’t have any specific plans, he will do some charity work soon (See Related Cut #4). Taio Cruz will perform at the Nokia Theater at L-A Live on December 5th.
JUSTIN BIEBER’S NEVER SAY NEVER TRAILER
A new trailer has surfaced for Justin Bieber’s upcoming 3-D movie Never Say Never. According to Billboard, the newest clip shows a montage of a baby Bieber explaining just how talented the youngster is and has always been. The trailer also shows the fun and goofy side of the teenager, dancing backstage and playing around with crew members. The closing of the trailer shows Bieber playing with the new 3D technology. Never Say Never will arrive in theaters on February 11th. Super eager fans can by tickets for an exclusive 3D preview event when they go on sale November 29th.
GWYNETH, GLEE AND RIHANNA TOP ITUNES CHART
Gwyneth Paltrow’s Glee cover of Cee-Lo Green’s “Forget You” tops the iTunes singles chart. Ke$ha’s “We R Who We R,” Cee-Lo’s original version of “Forget You,” Katy Perry’s “Firework,” and P!nk’s “Raise Your Glass” follow. Rihanna’s Loud is the most-downloaded album on the site, with Glee: The Music — The Christmas Album, Nothing Like This from Rascal Flatts, What Separates Me from You from A Day to Remember and Keith Urban’s Get Closer rounding out the top five. The Beatles’ Abbey Road comes in at number six and The Beatles Box Set is at number ten, after the band’s first week on iTunes.
AMAS SUFFER LOW RATINGS
According to Billboard, ABC’s telecast of the American Music Awards had its worst ratings in the show’s history as NBC’s football coverage of the Philadelphia Eagles beating the New York Giants trumped the show. The AMAs drew 11.6-million viewers and dropped 22 percent in viewership from adults 18 to 49 from last year. Justin Bieber won four awards at the show, including Artist of the Year. It’s not all bad news for the AMAs, ABC pointed out the show was up 12 percent in teens and 19 percent among kids 2-11.
CHRISTINA TALKS PEEING IN A BUCKET
Christina Aguilera has been doing the rounds promoting Burlesque. She has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Conan and stopped by the set of Chelsea Lately and told Chelsea Handler an interesting story about touring. Aguilera said during quick breaks during her live performances, she sometimes has to use the bathroom and improvises, explaining, “I have no shame about peeing in a bucket or doing other things in a bucket, if necessary. I am not kidding, sometimes… is it the wrong thing to say that duty calls.” You can see more of Christina in Burlesque, which is in theaters now.

Taylor Swift is listed as one of Entertainment Tonight’s most influential celebrities on Twitter. Followers of Taylor know that she is always tweeting to fans, friends and celebrities. Most recently, Taylor and Katy Perry tweeted about sitting with each other’s parents at the American Music Awards. While Lady GaGa has the most number of followers on Twitter, Taylor beats talk-show host Oprah Winfrey by around 65-thousand followers. A NEW CHRISTMAS SONG FROM COLBIE CAILLAT
Colbie Caillat is hard at work on her third studio album which is due out next year, but before that, the singer-songwriter has just released a new track called “25 Days of Christmas,” with the video being shown exclusively on ABC Family. According to Billboard.com, Colbie said the tune is “Christmas-y,” but still has her “laid-back, southern California feel to it.” The song will be heard on the TV channel throughout the holidays.
T.I. SELECTS NEXT SINGLE FOR NO MERCY
According to her official fansite, Christina Aguilera’s duet with T.I. for upcoming album, No Mercy, will be his next single. The two artists from different genres created a track called “Castle Walls,” which will be T.I.’s second offering following the rapper’s Chris Brown-assisted “Get Back Up.” Be sure to grab Tip’s No Mercy when it finally lands in stores on December 7th.

BONO AND EDGE SAY WRITING FOR A MUSICAL WAS DIFFICULT AND EASY AT THE SAME TIME
Bono and The Edge wrote the music for the upcoming Spider-Man Broadway musical and have talked about the task with Billboard. Bono said writing the music for the show was easy, but that trying stage the production, both financially and technically, was more difficult. Duffy said recently that she seriously considered quitting the music business after her first album, but that those thoughts are now behind her. Well, it seems that Kid Rock has made some comments that might make her consider it all over again. The Detroit rocker told British paper the Daily Star that he crossed paths with the Welsh singer recently and that he told her she had better stay away from him or else she’ll “end up pregnant.” Although the comment was most certainly meant as a joke, Duffy apparently didn’t take it that way, and the Daily Record reports that she took it as a “threat.” Hopefully the two don’t meet up again until this has all blown over.
