Mike Midwestern has titled his new album “Inhibitors” which will be released on September 28, 2010. “Inhibitors”, his first official full length, is more or less an allegory of the death and rebirth of a family establishing its new roots. It will be available at local Twin Cities record stores and online through CD Baby and iTunes. Mike Midwestern will also be donating 20% of the proceeds from the album to Treehouse, a Twin Cities based non-profit organization. Treehouse offers hope, guidance, and unconditional love to at-risk teens, largely without family stability, dealing with tough issues such as depression/suicidal tendencies, substance abuse, truancy, and self-injury. Additionally, Mike Midwestern himself will be donating $2 to Treehouse for every copy of “Inhibitors” that is mailed out for promotional purposes.
