After months of touring the US, UK and Europe throughout 2009/10, Atlanta’s Gringo Star returned home to head into the studio with Ben Allen (Animal Collective, Deerhunter, Matt & Kim, Cut Copy) once again to begin work on their second album. The collaboration between Allen and the band led to so much acclaim for their debut album, ‘All Y’all’, that it was just a matter of time until their schedules matched up to work together again. With the album now completed and set for release in the new year, Gringo Star will hit the road this week for a full US tour, doing a mixture of their own headlining shows as well as supporting The Toadies and Girl In A Coma.
