GWEN IS NOT PREGNANT

Rumors have been floating around recently that No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani is pregnant, but it’s simply not true.   A rep for the rocker told E! News that she and hubby Gavin Rossdale aren’t expecting any additions to their family.   The couple already has two sons, Kingston and Zuma.

GAGA TALKS ABOUT GLEE

This week’s episode of Glee featured the music of Lady Gaga, and apparently, the pop star thoroughly enjoyed it.   The “Bad Romance” singer told EW.com that she’s a fan of the show, and loves “the cast and the creativity of the writers.”

LEONA WANTS “ETHICAL” OUTFITS ON TOUR

COULD CARRIE’S WEDDING BE SOON?

Could Carrie Underwood’s wedding to hockey player Mike Fisher be sooner rather than later?   According to EOnline.com, a source said that the nuptials are “right around the corner,” but wouldn’t reveal an exact date.   They would only say that it’s “real soon,” so be sure to keep an eye out!

TAYLOR TALKS TO DEMI ABOUT JONAS BREAK-UP

The exes of Joe Jonas are banding together.   Both Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato have been dumped by the elder Jo-Bro, and according to PopCrunch.com, the country star sent a nice message to Lovato after her recent break-up.   A friend of Taylor said that she “sent Demi a quick text message saying that everything happens for a reason, and it will only make her stronger.”   She also supposedly said that if Demi needed anything she should just ask.

ENRIQUE IGLESIAS REVEALS TRACKLISTING

RYAN TEDDER WORKING WITH BRITNEY

Ryan Tedder seems to be working with everyone these days, and you can now add one more name to the list.   In an interview with the Denver Post, the OneRepublic frontman said that he’s planning on working with none other than Britney Spears.   No word yet on when we can hear any of the collaborations between the two.   Tedder also mentioned that he’s planning on working with Lady Antebellum.

DAUGHTRY TO HELP NASHVILLE

LADY ANTEBELLUM WILL STREAM FAN CLUB PARTY

100-percent of the proceeds from Lady Antebellum’s fan club concert on June 10th will benefit the Nashville flood relief efforts.   A live stream of the performance will be available on the trio’s website for a minimum five-dollar donation. Band member Dave Haywood recently said, “Music City has a long way to go.”

DRAKE, JAY-Z JOIN FORCES ON THANK ME LATER

We previously reported that Drake recruited Jay-Z to appear on his upcoming debut album Thank Me Later, and the two rap stars have exceeded our expectations. The emcees come together on a record called “Light Up.” The track is a great taste of what Drizzy is cookin’ up on his new disc.   Head over to YouTube now for your first listen. JANET JACKSON READIES TRUE YOU BOOK

When we think of a yo-yo dieter, Janet Jackson’s ever-changing body comes to mind. It’s no secret that the entertainer’s physique notoriously fluctuates, which is why she penned a new book titled True You. According to SingersRoom.com, the singer claims she’s “an emotional eater. Everyone has their thing.” In the book, Janet will spill anecdotes and tidbits on healthy eating for adults and teens. True You hits bookstores later this year.

MARIAH WITHDRAWS FROM TYLER PERRY’S NEW MOVIE

According to People.com, Mariah Carey has reportedly withdrawn from her role in Tyler Perry’s film adaptation of For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf. While many assume Mi Mi’s alleged pregnancy is the reason why, a rep from the singer’s camp stated, “I’m not at liberty to discuss her personal life at this time.” Perry’s new flick, which currently stars Kerry Washington, Loretta Devine and Phylicia Rashad, will begin shooting next month. The movie will open later next year.

DIDDY’S ISSUES NEW HEADPHONES, ALBUM COVER

Guess who appeared at Best Buy in New York’s Union Square yesterday? Diddy stood with Dr. Dre to introduce his new Diddybeats in-ear headphones. Puff joins his Interscope labelmates Dre and Lady Gaga, as well as Jay-Z and Snoop Dogg in this new trend of custom earphones. During the press conference, the mogul stated he “wanted something that looked like fashion, but just wasn’t all about fashion.” In related news, the official artwork for his upcoming Last Train To Paris, which arrives on June 29th, can be seen via Puff’s official fan site.

DR DRE SAYS DETOX IS COMING THIS FALL!

According to Rap-Up.com, Dr Dre’s long awaited Detox album will not only drop this year, but it’s expected to arrive this fall. During an appearance on BET’s 106 & Park the mogul says fans should expect the first single “Under Pressure” featuring Jay-Z, to premiere next month. At this time there’s no confirmed release date for Detox.   Hopefully it will in fact land this fall.

U2 WORKING ON NEW SONGS WHILE BONO RECOVERS

Bono’s longtime friend and bandmate The Edge took to U2.com to update fans on the singer’s condition after his emergency back surgery. Edge wrote, “Knowing him, he’d probably want to take some short cuts to recovery and get ahead of himself but from what I understand he needs to do this in a methodical way, so we’ll be there to chain him down if need be.” The guitarist said the unexpected time off the road will give them the chance to work on new songs, which they may play live when they kick off a European tour in August. <SH>

HOW DO BANDS GET ON THE TWILIGHT SOUNDTRACKS?

How do bands get picked for a coveted spot on the Twilight soundtracks? According to an interview with NME, the music supervisors claim to have “progressive taste” and “forward-thinking directors” saying it’s all about “the best music for the scene.” They chose The Dead Weather this time out because the film focuses on battle and Jack White’s band fit. Other bands on The Twilight Saga: Eclipse soundtrack include Muse, Vampire Weekend and more and it comes out on June 8th.
