Justin Bieber will perform on The Oprah Winfrey Show tomorrow. The 16-year-old will sing his song “Baby” and he will sit down with Oprah for an interview.
JUSTIN BIEBER RECORDING IN NEW YORK CITY
According to the New York Post, Justin Bieber will be recording his next album in Manhattan. In papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, Bieber’s record label, Universal, seeks a judge’s permission to get its latest contract with the singing sensation approved. Since Bieber is a minor, a judge has to make sure no one takes advantage of him. The 16-year-old signed the two-record deal in December and is getting a 400-thousand dollar advance on his first album with Universal.
SNOOP AND KATY PERRY?
RapRadar.com reports Snoop Dogg has teamed with pop star Katy Perry on a new song called “California Girls.” The duo confess their love for the Golden State on the first single from the singer’s new album. Fans can expect the disc to drop later this summer.

JLS WORKING WITH CHRIS BROWN?
There are conflicting reports circling around the Internet that British band JLS are teaming up with Chris Brown on their new album. ContactMusic.com is reporting that the collaboration is on, while MonsterAndCritics.com says the band is denying these reports. A rep for JLS told MTV Radio that they had not heard the news. We will keep you posted.
GAGA FANS PETITION IDOL
Lady Gaga fans have started a petition to get American Idol to air her unedited performance from last week’s show. The petition – started by the “Little Monsters of the World” – states that Gaga’s performance of “Alejandro” was art, and editing it was an act on par with slashing the face of the Mona Lisa. The petition goes on to echo Gaga’s complaint about the “amateurly” made cuts. The organizers of the petition plan to collect ten-thousand signatures from Gaga fans, which they hope will persuade Idol producers to re-air the full “Alejandro” performance. Or, at the very least, apologize to her. So far, just about 39-hundred Little Monsters have signed on.
TAYLOR SWIFT HELPS FLOOD VICTIMS
Taylor Swift is doing her best to help the victims of the floods in Nashville. According to the Associated Press, the crossover star donated 500-thousand dollars to various flood relief organizations. Cleanup and repair of the area is supposed to cost more than one-billion dollars. Swift has lived in Nashville since she was 14 years old.

P!nk is not only featured in the June issue of Cosmo – she’s on the cover. The pop star spoke about finally gracing the cover of the mag because other periodicals have told her in the past that she’s “not pretty enough.” She’s says she’s alright with that thought, and that she knows she’s “unique.” The “So What” singer also talks about her “dramatic” marriage to Carey Hart and that they’re still “trying not to” have kids, but that she “can’t wait to not try not to.”
B.O.B’S “NOTHIN ON YOU” WAS INTENDED FOR LUPE?
Jim Jonsin sat down with MTV News and revealed that B.o.B.’s smash hit, “Nothin On You,” was initially produced for Lupe Fiasco. The mega-producer knew the song “could be somebody’s single. But it’s not Lupe’s record.” Jonsin admitted that he had to convince Atlantic Records chairman Craig Kallman to give the record to B.o.B. and the rest is history. “Nothing On You” is currently sitting at the number two position on the Billboard 100 chart. Meanwhile, somewhere, Lupe is kicking himself.
GAME DELAYS HIS R.E.D. ALBUM
Rap-Up.com reports Game’s highly anticipated project, The R.E.D. Album, will no longer go up against Drake’s Thank Me Later disc on June 15th. The rapper’s set, which includes contributions from Dr Dre, Pharrell and Justin Timberlake, will now hit stores on June 29th.
SCAMMERS FACE CHARGES
According to the Associated Press, two men face charges of scamming fans of Lady Gaga and Adam Lambert by selling tickets for a bogus concert in West Virginia. Arrest warrants issued Thursday charge 45-year-old Sherman Luke Loy and 45-year-old Dean R. DeSana with one count each of obtaining money by false pretenses. Loy’s lawyer says the tickets started at 100 dollars. According to a criminal complaint, the men claimed the concert would be held April 24th at a park near Harpers Ferry. The concert never happened. Court records show 11 people filed police reports saying they paid for tickets but never received them. Police say ticket sales totaled more than 17-thousand dollars. Both men have denied the charges.
MARIAH CAREY’S NEW LOLLIPOP-INSPIRED PERFUME
According to Reuters, Mariah Carey has announced Lollipop Bling as her newest fragrance with Elizabeth Arden. The new scent joins Mi Mi’s popular perfumes including M by Mariah Carey, Forever Mariah Carey and Luscious Pink. Fans should expect more bottles to be released near Christmas time.
KELLY ROWLAND DENIES BEEF WITH BEYONCE
There’s been a lot of speculation that Beyonce Knowles was intentionally trying to outshine Kelly Rowland by releasing her “Why Don’t You Love Me” video just days before Kelly’s “Commander” clip. Well, during an interview with HipHollywood.com, Rowland dismissed those rumors and stated, “No we don’t hate each other” and added that “everybody wanted us to come out at different times, but it really doesn’t matter. I think that there’s room for everybody.” She said she really doesn’t care what people think because she’ll “love” Bey until their dying days and that’s all that really matters.
DIDDY RE-TEAMS WITH MACYS FOR SEAN JOHN
According to the New York Post, Diddy intends to rake in more Benjamins after recently signing another deal with Macy’s. The mogul previously worked with the department store chain to handle his Sean John clothing brand — which reportedly earned a billion dollars in sales. With the renewed partnership, Puff stated, “We plan to do a couple billion more.” Interestingly enough, Diddy sold shirts and ties at Macy’s when he was 16, and he explained that coming “full circle like this is a dream come true.”
In related news, Diddy has changed the release date for his forthcoming Last Train To Paris album to June 29th. His disc was previously scheduled to go up against Eminem’s Recovery LP. Scared much?
RIKKI ROCKETT TALKS ABOUT BRET
Poison drummer Rikki Rockett talked to CNN about how his bandmate, Bret Michaels, is doing as he recovers from the brain hemorrhage he recently suffered. Rikki revealed that after being discharged from the hospital, Bret moved into a rehab facility where he is much happier. There, he is surrounded by people healing as opposed to his time in the ICU, when he said there were code blues “every two seconds” and it can “get depressing” being surrounded by so much sadness. NEW MUSE SONG ON ECLIPSE SOUNDTRACK
Muse fans get ready! The band has a new song on the way titled “Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever)” and it’s gonna be on the Twilight Eclipse soundtrack. The track will come out on May 17th with the official soundtrack coming out on June 8th. No word as to which other artists will appear on the film’s soundtrack.
LIAM GALLAGHER TO WORK ON BEATLES MOVIE?
Liam Gallagher is reportedly working on a film about the final years of The Beatles. NME reports that the Oasis singer has allegedly acquired the rights to memoirs written by Richard DiLello. Some reports claim that Gallagher will announce the project next week at Cannes. DiLello’s book is an insider account of the band from 1967 to 1970.
PETE WENTZ WANTED TO PLAY PROFESSIONAL SOCCER
Pete Wentz wasn’t always a rocker. The former Fall Out Boy bassist told MTV News that he was the captain of his high school soccer team and even earned all-state honors in Illinois. Wentz says he was really passionate about the game and wanted to play professionally. This is all revealed on next week’s episode of When I Was 17 on MTV, which airs on Saturday at 11 AM.
