After much anticipation and speculation, Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard confirmed today plans to tour North America. Kicking off July 23, 2010 in Asheville, North Carolina, Clay and Ruben will bring their “Timeless” tour to 17 cities including appearances at famed venues such as New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom, LA Nokia Live in Los Angeles, and Pennsylvania’s American Music Theater. This is the first time the two artists will tour together.

“I couldn’t ask for a better tour mate. To be able to share the stage with him again is so exciting,” said Clay Aiken. “He is such a talented artist. He inspires me daily and I think that respect and admiration will truly be reflected in our show.”  or

    OMG this is AWESOME!!! Clay & Ruben FINALLY back together again on stage!!! These two are wonderfully warm, charming & hilarious together!! Sucks to be me cause I can’t go *SOB* so I sure am looking forward to seeing lots of Clack from the fans. *happydance*

    Thanks for letting us know about the tour. I’m thrilled that Clay and Ruben are touring together. The talent of Clay and Ruben would blow away the contestants on the current season of Idol.

    Can not wait!! Both these guys have phenomenal voices and I remember how funny they were doing the press circuit after the second season of AMerican Idol. I’m so glad to hear they stayed friends!!

    Looking forward to this joint tour. Clay and Rube are great friends with great voices and I’m sure there will be the usual audience chatter and humor which are always a part of Clay’s tours. Can’t wait.

    This is really exciting!! Bot Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard are wonderful performers. Their voices blend together so well and they have so much fun in entertaining the audience.

    Clay Aiken and Ruben Studdard are two talented, funny guy who have remained friends since meeting on idol years ago. The concerts should be a treat to see. Ruben was a guest for the taping of Clay’s PBS special which will be shown this summer.
