PUDDLE OF MUDD FRONTMAN WES SCANTLIN’S LEG INJURY CREATES RIPPLE DURING NYC PROMO TOUR

“I was kind of hoping it was more serious than it is,” says Wes Scantlin about injuring his right foot’s fifth metatarsal bone while in New York City on Monday. “I was told this type of fracture is seen a lot in athlete’s – I fractured mine simply hopping off a stool after our appearance on the radio show Rockline.” The injury forced Scantlin to reschedule a series of interviews slated for Tuesday – but the good news for fans is that it will not impact the rest of the band’s set up for their latest Flawless/Geffen release “Volume 4: Songs in The Key Of Love And Hate.”

“So much for a sexy explanation of what happened,” says Scantlin, adding “we will be turning that up a bit when we head back to Los Angeles for our Gibson-sponsored album release party featuring their new Dusk Tiger guitar.” The event is scheduled at the Gibson Showroom on Monday December 7, with the album hitting the music marketplace on December 8.
