Comedian Rodney Carrington’s first Christmas CD Make it Christmas follows on the heels of his latest all-song comedy record, El Nino Loco, which recently debuted at number 2 on Billboard’s comedy charts.
Make it Christmas is an all song album that perfectly showcases Carrington’s melodic voice and features beautiful traditional tunes, such as Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, Winter Wonderland, I’ll Be Home For Christmas, White Christmas, Mary Did You Know, and Oh Holy Night, that will evoke warm memories of Christmas past. But Carrington is also introducing a few new ones that are destined to become classics. Among these are the self penned “The Presents Under The Tree (Better Be For Me),” the title song “Make it Christmas” written by Steve Dorff, “Camouflage and Christmas Lights” which was co- written by Dorff’s son Andrew, and “Presence Of Love”. Carrington also covers the sad but beautiful “Grown Up Christmas List”
