According to the Associated Press, on Thursday, fans had already begun lining up at the Nokia Theater in downtown Los Angeles to purchase tickets to see Michael Jackson’s concert film This Is It. The film features a behind-the-scenes look at Jackson preparing for the series of London shows he was rehearsing for before he died on June 25th. Tickets for the flick went on sale early Sunday morning and the first 500 fans in line scored commemorative tickets designed by Jackson for the London concerts at the O2 Arena. A total of three-thousand movie tickets will be available for the early October 27th shows at L-A Live’s new Regal Cinemas Stadium 14, marking the movie theater’s grand opening. This Is It will begin its limited, two-week run at movie theaters nationwide on October 28th.
