Spike Lee is marking Michael Jackson’s birthday with a block party celebration in Brooklyn. The filmmaker’s bash for the late King of Pop will be held in on August 29th, what would have been Jackson’s 51st birthday. Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz will proclaim August 29th “Michael Jackson Day” at the celebration. Jackson will be buried the same day in Glendale, California.
