OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder wanted to take his time before responding to claims from Kelly Clarkson that he gave her and Beyonce the same beat for their respective songs “Already Gone” and “Halo.” Apparently, now he’s ready to speak. According to the Daily News, Tedder said that the two are “entirely different songs conceptually, melodically and lyrically” and that he would “would never try to dupe an artist.”
