YEAH YEAH YEAHS PAY TRIBUTE TO SCOTLAND WITH T IN THE PARK PERFORMANCE

Over the weekend, Scotland’s own huge three day music festival, T in the Park, commenced and featured performances by Blur, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Kings of Leon, Nine Inch Nails, Crystal Castles, and many others.

But the one band that stood out, and probaby the absolute favorite among the concert-goers that day, was the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, who were performing Friday, on the Radio 1 / NME Stage.  Anyone who was able to stick around long enough to reach the middle of the set was able to witness the fantastic tribute to the land of Scotland, where the band performed the track “Skeletons”, with the East Kilbride Pipe Band closing out the song.

See it for yourself:

Bonus points to whoever can catch Karen O’s very tiny tribute to Michael Jackson.
