The Los Angeles Times reports a rap artist named Roderick Anthony “Dolla” Burton II was fatally shot in Los Angeles on Monday afternoon. Dolla was standing by the Beverly Center shopping mall on La Cienega Boulevard when a dispute broke out and ended with Dolla being shot in the head. The rapper was signed to Akon’s KonLive imprint through Jive Records. He was only 21 years old.
