Everything from our album art, to some of our lyrics, to of course our videos, is inspired by film in some way. Tarantino is one of my favorite directors and in this video you’ll see subtle and not so subtle references to films like Pulp Fiction. Problems is about the obstacles that can come up along the way sometimes, so it seemed natural to make a video about a spectacularly failed heist for this song.”

Jamie Lin Wilson Announces ‘Jumping Over Rocks’ via Rolling Stone Country
No one covers the spectrum of age and experience quite like Jamie Lin Wilson: the singer-songwriter’s second full-length album Jumping Over Rocks comprises songs that paint moving portraits of men, women, and children coping, striving, wondering, and celebrating. The album is set to release October 26. The first single “The Being Gone,” which Rolling Stone Country called a “lush travelogue,” questions the cost and payoff of decisions made and time spent on the road.
The songs on Jumping Over Rocks encompass universal themes but remain specific and personal, too. Wilson wrote from the outside looking in, studying characters around her and picking up on details most people miss. The album gets its title from “Death and Life,” an epic that took her four years to write. A widow mourning her husband and not quite ready to let go; a son who copes with his father’s death by working with his hands, hammers, nails, and 2x4s; kids hopping over rocks in a graveyard, inadvertently learning about the circle of things.

PRIVATE LIFE’s Silent Partner is a fascinating blend of cyberpunk, dream pop, psych, prog, and kraut vibes from the ’70s, bits of thrash, and modern modular electronic synths. Think of it as the latest operating system update for a computer with plenty of Talking Heads, Gang Of Four, and Bloc Party on the hard drive. Death Ray Vision new album “Negative Mental Attitude” coming Fall 2018
Nearly five years after the release of “We Ain’t Leavin’ Till You’re Bleedin”, Massachusetts old-school Hardcore fashioned, Death Ray Vision have been finalizing their sophomore effort, “Negative Mental Attitude”. Recording will begin in September at Mad Oak Studio, where the band previously recorded their first five-song EP “Get Lost or Get Dead”, once again with producer Benny Grotto at the helm. A release is scheduled for late 2018 on Bullet Tooth.
Dreezy Releases Video For “Where Them $ @”
Rap superstar and “Princess of Chicago Rap,” Dreezy has just dropped the visual for her turn up anthem, “Where Them $ @”. Directed by Chad Tennies, the video also features influencers Miracle Watts and Persuasian. The women team up with Dreezy for an epic strip club heist; a clever take on the song’s sultry theme. On August 6th Alice Merton will be playing nationally-syndicated morning talk show “Live with Kelly and Ryan.” Alice’s new hit song “Lash Out” has recently broken into the AAA Top-10 coming in at #9 and is also working its way up the alt-radio charts coming in at #16. She also recently announced a run of fall tour dates. It will be her first headlining tour since last fall. In May she shared the video for “Lash Out”.

Funtcase Puts a Grimy Spin on Snails’s ‘Forever’ as First Release From Upcoming ‘The Shell’ Remix Album
Everyone’s favorite Vomitstep producer, Snails, is about to drop a remixed version of his debut album “The Shell” – and he’s given us a taste of the utter destruction to come with the release of Funtcase’s remix of “Forever.” Funtcase rises to the challenge by incorporating a fresh dose of grimy, mechanical synths and face-melting basslines, which gives the producer’s legion of headbanging fans yet another reason to go absolutely wild during his notorious live sets. “I loved writing this remix, the original I was playing for absolutely AGES before release, so I was happy when Snails said I could remix it…hope you enjoy,” stated Funtcase as he unleashes this monster remix to the public.
