Golden Brown is psyched to announce the signing of Ari Roar and his upcoming EP “Patch Me Up,” to be released September 23.
Ari Roar is the brainchild of Caleb Ian Campbell. Campbell recorded half of his EP entitled “Patch Me Up” in his Dallas garage apartment during a particularly hot Texas summer. Falling down a rabbit hole of John Lennon and Elliot Smith, he tried to escape the more electronic oriented sounds he had been immersed in during a recent tour he’d just returned from. Still new to the producer seat, he absorbed whatever techniques he could by asking friends and skipping through the many long and useless intros on YouTube how-to videos. Now that tracking was nearly done, it was probably a good time to get some studio speakers.
