Five-time GRAMMY-nominated singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Skylar Grey releases a new song today, “Moving Mountains,” via all participating digital retailers. The track, written by Grey and produced by Mike Elizondo and Mark Batson, was inspired by the mountains in Park City, Utah where Skylar resides. The song follows on last year’s “Cannonball,” featuring Grey’s KIDinaKORNER/Interscope Records labelmates X Ambassadors.
A video for “Moving Mountains,” shot in Park City, Utah, premieres on Vevo today. The cinematic clip, which features panoramic shots of Grey traversing a snowy landscape alternating with her performance of the song on acoustic guitar, was directed by Peter Harding, who also directed Grey’s video for “Coming Home Pt. II,” as well as videos for Justin Timberlake, Tori Kelly, and Ryan Bingham, among others.
