Toronto songwriter Jason Collett has shared a third track, “Forever Young Is Getting Old”, from his upcoming sixth full-length album, Song And Dance Man – listen + share via YouTube. Whistling its way through two and half minutes of a toe-tapping beat, the iconic songwriter paints a wistful yet poignant picture of life in the not-so-fast lane: “It was easy come and easy go, now there’s no easy road,” Jason sings over shuffling bass, elastic guitar, and playful call-and-response.
“Forever Young Is Getting Old” is available for purchase on January 15, and is an instant download for album pre-orders as of January 18 alongside first singles “Love You Babe” and “Song And Dance Man”.
