Whatever you want to call it — impressionist pop, post-pop, neo-classical — Art Decade’s music is at once innovative and immediate. “No One’s Waiting” is a pure pop song with enormous orchestral flourishes. The song’s indelible melodies and cinematic string arrangements will remind listeners of the mature sensibilities of artists like Electric Light Orchestra, Jon Brion, and Grizzly Bear. Art Decade continues to succeed in striking a breathtaking balance between the intimate and grandiose. Like the rest of the tracks on their upcoming second LP (due out in September), “No One’s Waiting” comes with its own artwork, designed by photographer Hadley Brooks using solargraphy.
