Germany-based independent singer-songwriter & music producer Cagri Raydemir’s new EP “Compulsion for Approval” is released and available on all streaming platforms as of June 16th 2025.
Compared to his previous releases, Compulsion for Approval has a more organic, acoustic and leaner approach.
It is the 22nd release in Cagri Raydemir’s catalogue, since he started publishing solo albums & EPs in 2010.
Every aspect of the 4-track EP – lyrics, music, vocals, instruments (excluding featured guests), arrangements, recording, mixing and mastering – was done by Cagri Raydemir in his custom-built home studio.
Regarding the lyrical foundations, this new EP and his previous releases are Cagri Raydemir’s observations on human condition (from philosophical & psychological standpoints) and up to the listener’s interpretation.
And, like his late releases, each of the 4 songs is feeding into the overarching concept of the EP.
