The pop star wrote on the social networking site that she was “speechless,” and that it’s “an illness” how she much she loves her fans. Could Lady Gaga and Madonna really be related? Well according to celebrity genealogist Chris Child, they most certainly are. He told the Boston Globe that the two pop stars are “ninth cousins once removed,” and that he had the idea to look into it once he found out that they both have French Canadian ancestry.

Adele now has the best-selling digital record in U-K history. According to MTV.co.uk, the singer’s new album, 21, has surpassed Lady Gaga’s The Fame to become number one of all time.
BRITNEY SPEARS ON THE COVER OF HARPER’S BAZAAR
Britney Spears appeared pregnant and nude on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar back in 2006. Now she is back on the cover again, this time in a low-cut white dress. In the latest issue of the magazine, now being previewed online, the singer opens up about her life. She says she is “pretty normal” and is “just like everybody else.” Spears added that she recently ran into Madonna at a party and said she learned to be true to herself from the legendary artist.
JOE JONAS TO RELEASE SOLO SINGLE NEXT MONTH!
Joe Jonas will release his debut solo single, “See No More,” on June 3rd. The song was co-written by Joe and Chris Brown and will be available for purchase on June 13th. Jonas will release his as-yet-untitled solo album on September 6th. The album will feature production by Danja, Rob Knox and Brian Kennedy.
Joe Jonas released the following statement: “Working on this album has been a rewarding but intense experience. ‘See No More’ especially carries a lot of personal emotions with it and I am hoping people listening to it will get a sense of where I’m coming from with this new sound.” “I’ve had an awesome team working with me on the music and I am excited, anxious, but more importantly… ready… to share it all with my fans. According to People.com, Nick Jonas was spotted holding hands with 26-year-old Australian pop star Delta Goodrem over the weekend. The two were seen at a Hollywood movie theater on Sunday.

Adele is one of the most beloved singers in the world — but it seems that it almost didn’t work out that way. She told Fabulous magazine that she “never had the aim of being a professional recording artist,” and that she really only had the ambition of working somewhere in the music industry, not necessarily “getting signed.” Good thing she’s singing and not pushing papers around a desk somewhere!
THE SCRIPT GET IN A BUS CRASH
Don’t worry, they’re okay, but The Script were involved in a bus crash over the weekend. Frontman Danny O’Donoghue told British paper the Daily Record that while en route to a festival performance in Carlisle, England, a car ran into their bus, and that “it’s the worst thing that’s happened yet on tour” and that it was “pretty serious.” Seems like everything worked out alright, because they were still able to make their gig.

TMZ is reporting that Cali Swag member M-Bone died Sunday night from gunshot wounds. M-Bone, whose real name was Montae Talbert, was 22 at the time of his death and passed away in his hometown of Inglewood, California. This story is still developing and we’ll keep you updated.
KANYE WEST TALKS WATCH THE THRONE
Wanna know what’s taking Kanye West and Jay-Z so long to release their joint album? JIM JONSIN IS PROUD OF KELLY ROWLAND
Many would agree that Kelly Rowland’s hit single, “Motivation” featuring Lil Wayne, has sparked new interest in her upcoming third studio, Here I Am. Jim Jonsin, who produced the sensual song, told Rap-Up.com that he’s “really happy that things are going well for her on this record. A real concern for us was to get that smash for her. She’s a friend of ours as well, so to see her win is huge.” The hit-maker added that he’s crafted four additional songs for Rowland’s disc, which is due out this fall.

LIL WAYNE TALKS UNPLUGGED PERFORMANCE
We previously reported that Lil Wayne taped an episode of MTV2’s Unplugged music series last Thursday in L-A. Immediately following the showcase, Weezy told The Los Angeles Times, “It was humbling just to be a part of. As an artist that’s watched the game as closely as I did, to be on ‘Unplugged’ is a high honor,” He added, “I’ve gotten people that haven’t texted me in a long time, text me today saying congratulations. ALICIA KEYS DENIES BEING A HOMEWRECKER
During an interview with Essence magazine, Alicia Keys claims that she was not the reason her current husband, Swizz Beatz, recently divorced his first wife, Mashonda. The singer explained that she did not start dating the hit-maker “until months after they had separated” and added that she was “hurt” by “all the false things” that were being reported. Keys further explained that she did not speak up against the rumors at the beginning of her relationship with Swizz because she felt it “would have made things worse.” Alicia went on to say that “things are really good now” between her and Mashonda, who considers her a “partner” in raising her son with the famous producer.
NICKI MINAJ WANTS TO DUET WITH ADELE
After already working with the best of the best, Nicki Minaj spilled to SingersRoom.com who she is looking to collaborate with next. The fem-cee revealed that she “thinks Adele is dope” and added that she’s actually “a really big fan of hers.” In addition to wanting to work with British artists, Nicki is looking forward to eventually touring overseas because she thinks “the United States has had enough of me for a little bit.” In the mean time, Minaj will join Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale tour, which kicks off next month.
