Barbara Nadas Releases “Lord Give Me The Rain,” In Support of LA Wildfires Relief

Emerging singer-songwriter Barbara Nadas has returned with her most emotionally charged release yet, “Lord Give Me The Rain.” The Hungarian-born artist unveils a soul-stirring ballad inspired by personal loss and the heartache of witnessing California’s wildfires. Originally drawn from a Hungarian prayer, this track channels her grief into a symbolic prayer of healing.

““LA means so much to me, it’s like a second home.” Nadas shared. “It breaks my heart what’s happening with the wildfires so I wanted to record something to give some words of support, hope, and inspiration. I came across this prayer and thought “rain” was so appropriate, not only in a literal sense but also as a metaphor for the outpouring of love from the community during this time of rebuilding.”

Recorded in the aftermath of her last album, “Stay,” this single marks a turning point in Nadas’ artistic journey. Layered with soaring vibratos and thunderous percussion, the track captures the emotional highs and lows of loss and renewal. At the same time, it connects the song to larger themes, describing the chaos and beauty of nature.

Known for infusing her music with emotional depth and global influence, Nadas continues to build a catalog rooted in authenticity. From environmentally-conscious tracks like “Lawyer of the Earth” to love songs like “For You,” her storytelling shines through in every release.

With “Lord Give Me The Rain,” she not only offers a heartfelt tribute to Los Angeles, but cements her place as an artist unafraid to speak from the soul. The powerful new single is now available for streaming worldwide on YouTube.
