Jae Sinnett Drops ‘The Blur the Lines Project’

Get ready for reimagined versions of classis rock hits that are all jazzed up on Jae Sinnett’s latest release titled ‘The Blue the Lines Project’.  Incredibly, this is Jae Sinnett’s 21st album and what a thrill ride from start to finish!  Jae tackles the songs of some music greats and they include: Rush, Rare Earth, The Edgar Winter Group, Steppenwolf, Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin.  Jae puts his own spin on these well-known cuts while still honoring the integrity of the original compositions.

Jae is an accomplished drummer, composer, bandleader, radio broadcaster and educator.  Sinnett is a man of many talents and his latest work is both ambitious and refreshing to say the least.  I simply love his thoughtful takes on such huge singles and I am personally a BIG fan of all the groups and the songs being covered on ‘The Blue the Lines Project’.

The new album features Jae Sinnett on drums & vocals, Ada Rovatti on tenor sax, Allen Farnham on Hammond B3 organ – piano, Jason Cale on guitar and Terry Burrell on bass.  Together, these refined musicians have merged jazz and rock to create fresh, new versions of timeless classics.  ‘The Blur the Lines Project’ will get you excited with familiar hits that are revamped and revitalized for your listening pleasure.

The record kicks off with “Tom Sawyer” by Rush and I have to say this is an exhilarating take on the original.  “Tom Sawyer” is music exploration of vibrant notes and sounds that is simply out of this world!  Next, Jae Sinnett is in the groove and on top of his game on “I Just Want To Celebrate” by Rare Earth.  With a solid beat and infectious rhythm, “I Just Want To Celebrate” will consume you from head to toe.  “I Just Want To Celebrate” is the perfect title because this is a superior jam for the ages and just a blast to listen to.  Track three, “Frankenstein”, by The Edgar Winter Group, is given new life by Jae with a jolt of energy to help get the juices flowing.  “Frankenstein” is all charged up and ready to go with Jae Sinnett and his band giving a scary, good performance overall.  It’s time for a “Magic Carpet Ride” next, originally done by Steppenwolf, where the listener is in store for one heck of a joy ride with a cool audio chill flying straight into your ears.  Hold on tight and jump aboard because “Magic Carpet Ride” is taking off!  Jae Sinnett is silencing critics on “Hush” by Deep Purple, so quiet on this set and just enjoy the star-studded show.  Jae showed up and showed out on “Hush” with one powerhouse performance.  The album ends on a high note with “Immigrant Song” by Led Zeppelin where the energy level is high and the mood is just right.  With a sublime melody intact, just let loose, let it all out and jam out to the rockin’ “Immigrant Song”.

Jae Sinnett weaves together styles and elements brilliantly on this new project as jazz and rock collide.  ‘The Blur the Lines Project’ provides fine musicianship and instrumentation throughout the entire recording and offers mass appeal.  This album contains all the necessary ingredients to become highly successful and popular by demand.  With tasteful and subtle nuances in place, Jae pays homage to the original artists while also adding his own, personal touch to the mix.  ‘The Blur the Lines Project’ has the potential to receive significant airplay worldwide and should be in constant rotation everywhere.  Jae Sinnett has done major justice to six, classic rock tunes and ‘The Blur the Lines Project’ should be added to your playlist ASAP!  This record is now open and available to the public with a release date of January 6, 2025, so grab your copy today!
