| Mobb Unknown is striving to make a good name for himself, and he is putting blood, sweat, and tears into everything he does. His objective and goals are to make it in this game and to keep grinding in the streets with a positive mind and message for upcoming artists who have the drive, ambition, and the work ethic to be successful.
Mobb Unknown has been working for over twelve years to shape his career and become the artist he is today. He started his musical journey in 1998 with two underground singles titled, “Jealousy” and “Shaft”, both singles created as dedications; to a friend and fallen soldier who left us before his time.
A compilation record was later released along with many upcoming artists from the neighborhood. In the year 1999, Mobb put out his first album with the help and assistance of the Gospel Great Johnny Paine! Although, being an independent and unsigned artist, nothing could stop the passion, or the love for the music business Mobb has. While working a nine to five he was able to produce a hood classic in 2001 titled “The New Beginning”. While showing his community he has what it takes to get to the next level he became “The Peoples Champ”. In 2006, the album “Richter Scale” was released regionally in stores, and sold over 1000 units on a shoestring budget, as the artist would refer to it. |
